Charon was born in 1958 in the Metro Phoenix area and has been producing art since an early age. He pursued his art education through scholarships in both Arizona and Utah, but his real influence came from a two year stay in Taiwan, where he acquired an impassioned fondness of oriental tradition and art.

For Robert, the splendor of nature and the wonder of the world itself leaves an impression that long outlast any one artistic movement. He is passionate about depicting the worth of brilliant subtleties of everyday life.

His work is collected throughout the United States.
