Elise Remender was born in 1977 in Phoenix, Arizona and graduated from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco, with concentrations in landscapes, portraiture and illustrations for children’s literature.
Her work combines the warmth of realism with the texture and emotion of an abstract background.
She now works and lives in Astoria, Oregon.
