Jean-Pierre Dubord was born in Rouen in 1949. He studied Art History and Decorative Arts in a two-year course at the School of the Louvre in Paris.
Dubord is first and foremost a landscape painter. His delicate, finely detailed canvases follow the Seine as it winds through Normandy from Paris to the English Channel.
His work has been exhibited throughout France, Japan and the United States.
