John Ambrose
The small seaside towns of Cornwall, England have nurtured many famous impressionist artists, attracted by its beauty and tranquility. John Ambrose has been capturing these atmospheric scenes since 1962.
His water glistens and shimmers, his clouds flow majestically across the sky and the jetties, boats and buildings, contracting with the dark against the light, are testaments to his mastery of chiaroscuro.
