Bio
Silvia Reisinger was born in Styria, Austria in 1965. She studied art history at the Karl-Franzens Universitat.
Reisinger is best known for her use of intense, bright colors. Her work is heavily influenced by French post impressionism, especially Malva’s paintings (now her husband!), and her love of nature and its flowering colors.
Her work is exhibited in galleries and cultural centers throughout Europe and was introduced in the United States in 1999.
