Kaoru Mansour is Japanese-born. She moved to California in 1986 and studied at the Otis Art Institute in 1987.
Her exquisite nature paintings integrate traditional Japanese themes with contemporary western genre, striking a balance between tension, weight, and whimsy. In her own words… “For me, my work demonstrates respect, appreciation, compassion, and humbleness. These are very important reminders in my life, and I have all these feelings toward nature.”
Kaoru lives and works in Los Angeles.
