Natasha Barnes

Natasha Barnes is a South African artist, born in 1969. While she has been painting since the age of seven, she has little formal training. Her natural talent and pure passion for painting has led her to develop a profound style, exhibiting expressionism, color and movement. Natasha is one of the mostly published artists in South Africa. Her work is exhibited extensively and can be found in private and corporate collections worldwide.

Rath Berger

Rath Berger was born in Hungary in 1933, to parents who were both well-known artists. He studied under his parents until he was old enough to enter a specialized art school. Rath generally paints miniature fruit with porcelain or glass, with his trademark water drops on the table. His portrayal of these various fruits, whether they be cherries or plums, are so realistic one is tempted to pluck the fruit off the painting! As a pass time, Rath operates a lovely bed and breakfast with his wife. His work has been exhibited in Paris, Munich and New York and can be found in collections all over the world.

C. Fox

C. Fox is the studio name for a pair of Chicago artists who combine their talents, ideas and painting techniques into each piece they create. They express their love of mixed media by incorporating textiles (including men’s silk neckties!) acrylics, wood and bits of metal into each piece. Favorite subjects are natural, intricate trees, vines vegetation and flowers. Their most recent works are whimsical, tall, exaggerated floral vases.

C. Fox is also available for commissions, allowing the buyer to specify size, subject matter and color.

Quispe Malca Gilmer

Quispe Malca Gilmer was born in San Miquel de Cajamarca, Peru, the home of his famous uncle, the poet Demetrio Quiroz Malca. He comes from a family of artists, so he came by painting quite naturally. Gilmer’s specialty is the antiquing technique learned in the ateliers of his masters Bartolome Luzanquis, Edilmer Sánchez and Jorge Arribasplata. His work is Flemish in style--ultra realistic, utilizing dark backgrounds and clear, vibrant colors that make the subject matter appear to “glow.” Gilmer now works and lives in Lima. His work has been exhibited extensively and can be found in collections all over the world.

Loren Grey

Grey studied at the Winchester School of Art in Winchester, England, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts.  She now lives and works on the west coast of England.  She is known for her dramatic use of color and her contemporary sense of composition.  Her specialty is the encaustic method, with colors enhanced by layering “washes” of wax and paint.  She is also a passionate gardener.  Her work is exhibited at the Taunton Art Gallery, Somersett; The New Bristol Gallery; the Bath Lanes Gallery; the Hove Art Gallery and Museum, Hove, Sussex; and the Beecroft Gallery, Southened, Essex.

Wim Heesakkers

Wim Heesakkers was born in 1950 in Son en Breugel in the southern region of the Netherlands.  As a teenager, he studied art in his hometown during which time he developed a great interest in the still life form.  Heesakkers continued his studies at the Art Academy in Amsterdam where he expanded on his extraordinary artistic talent.  His work is influenced by the Dutch Masters.  He is especially well known for his use of impeccable, fine detail.  He customarily uses Delft, pewter and glass to produce an old world feel.  Heesakkers’ work has been exhibited in Holland, Germany and France.

C. Pierre Latour

Latour was born in 1935, studied art in Paris and lived there until recently moving to the USA. The paintings of Latour are best known for the beautiful colors of French flower markets, city scenes or a barge along a river. His technique is bold and loose, his palette and brushwork full with paint. This artist brings serenity to the viewer with this unique combination of style and subject.

S.M. Lee

S.M Lee was born in Korea in 1949. He has been living in NY and exhibiting in the US since 1989. Much of the inspiration for his paintings come from a love of the garden and also the coastal seascapes of Long Island and Cape Cod. Lee is collected widely for his wonderfully detailed natural subjects.

Yvonne Mora

Yvonne Mora was born in Lima, Peru in 1959. She graduated with honors from the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes in 1985 and married the well-known painter William Rengifo. Isy Ochoa

Isy Ochoa was born in 1961 and is a native of Paris.  She works in her picturesque studio in the middle of the city, affording her a bit of country charm and open air, amidst the City of Lights.  She has degrees from the Ecole Superieure d’Arts Graphiques, the Atelier Met de Penninghen and the Academie Julian.  Isy is widely known for her work with cats and the brilliance of her colors.  She has illustrated postcards, stationary, calendars and posters.  Her work captures the energy and pleasures of life as we would try to hold them in our most vivid and cherished memories.  Isy’s work has been sold at auction through Christie’s Auction House (the youngest artist ever!) and she has a strong following in Europe and the United States.

Jamie Paterno

Jamie P. tracks her love of art and her inspiration back to her childhood fascination with fairy tales. She spent many happy hours drawing handsome princes and beautiful princesses in lovely costumes. Her active fantasy life still inspires her today. Jamie P. says: “I am still painting dashing men in stylish suits and fashionable women in exciting red dresses, coming alive in their favorite places as night falls.” The artist graduated from the Fine Art College at Seoul Women’s University and is currently affiliated with several art associations. Bob Ransley

Born in 1955, Bob Ransley is a native of Troy, New York. His formal training includes study at the Swain School of Design in New Bedford, Mass. and a degree in Art Education from the University of Massachusetts. Bob’s unique style has a flair of its own…it’s obvious he’s having a good time with his palette knife. He rarely lacks enthusiasm and it shows in his work. There is a confidence exuded in the technique of every piece. His subject matter includes animals, still lifes and florals, and he is in great demand as a portrait artist. Anke Schofield

Born in Edinburgh, he worked almost exclusively in watercolor and also designed stained glass. His subjects were mainly landscapes and coastal scenes. He exhibited at the Royal Academy in London, the Scottish Academy in Edinburgh, the Walker Gallery in Liverpool, the Glasgow Institute and the Aberdeen Art Society, as well as the Scottish Society of Watercolourists and the Institute of Painters in Watercolour. Represented in the National Gallery of Scotland and the Manchester City Art Gallery.

Starlie Sokol Hohne

Starlie Sokol-Hohne was born in 1958 in Santa Monica, California and completed her studies at UCLA in 1980. Inspired by the work of Robert Rauchenberg, Starlie combines images of antiquity with contemporary mixed media printmaking techniques to create the reality of her idealized image. Her compositions include paint, textures of fabric, string, and patterned paper, photography, and more. The unique result is distinctively a Sokol-Hohne. Her work is in private, public and corporate collections throughout the United States.
